Summer Science Camps in Chicago and Seattle

Kids Science Labs operates the best science camps in the U.S. We offer camps at all of our existing retail locations, as well as through our offsite STEM Lab program that makes our award winning program available as weekly STEAM enrichment activities for OST and through our partners around the U.S.

A typical Kids Science Labs summer camp costs $350-$750/week, depending on the geographic location, advanced science topic, dates, and length of time (up to 8 hours), and includes one science discovery classes, one design thinking class, afternoon creativity studio, an outdoor experience, a STEAM take home kit customized by your child, and add-ons such as available time extensions (early-bird or extended day).

Each week of camp, your child will complete at least two (2) capstone design projects that solve an engineering problem, so they can share the experience with you. We would love to host your child at any of our summer camps, where are typically available:

• Summer Camp Availability: June 1st - August 31st (Labor Day)

Winter Break and Spring Break Science Camps

For many parents, when school is out, you need a convenient camp that your child will love, that is able to provide in-person instruction, fun science, and outdoor experiences that increase student engagement with STEAM enrichment activities for kids. Kids Science Labs offers school break science camps for kids ages 4-12 at all of our retail locations, typically around the following dates (check your location for availability):

• Winter Break - December 16- January 8th (varies based on local school schedule)

• February Mid-Winter Break - February 15-22nd (Typically 3rd week of February)

• Spring Break March 25 - April 15 (varies based on local school schedule)

We strongly encourage families to complete the form above and let us know your school’s break, so we can add it to our calendar in Chicago and Seattle.

Thanksgiving and School Day-Off Camps

We know its hard when schools have days off, as parents are either working, or need the break to catch up on their professional and family commitments. Since 2011, Kids Science Labs has often provided day-off experiences during the thanksgiving holiday period, as well as for some select days-off camp, as requested by parents, throughout the school year. In the past, this may include some or all of the following days off, which are entirely dependent on parent demand. As long as we have a minimum of 30 students committed to attend a school day-off or week long camp, we will try our best to accomodate our parent community.
