What a Summer camp day looks like for Kids
Our summer camps are a joyful mix of discovery, creativity, and hands-on learning. A typical day at our camps involves many activities designed to spark curiosity, spanning from designing inventions and conducting real science experiments to building friendships and enjoying collaborative challenges. Kids from PreK up to 8th grade enjoy a dynamic environment where they can explore new ideas, ask “what if,” and engage with science in ways that are both exciting and age-appropriate.
Arrival & Activity Quest
8:30am - 9:15am
Kids arrive and are welcomed into our centers, where they are met with a curious problem of the day, written on our Wonder Wall. They open the day with an innovation activity to get their brain active and to connect with fellow campers, where they are given 30 minutes to activate using art, critical thinking, sensory, and thematic activities.
Hands-on Science Discovery Class
9:15am - 10:30am
The kids take this hands-on science discovery class, where they engage with real science experiments to understand that day's problem, and then begin applying the science to making a real product.
Snack Break
10:30am - 10:45am
A peanut and tree-nut free snack break occurs, where kids enjoy an energetic meal.
Innovation & Creativity Class
10:45am - 12:00pm
Students use the science skills obtained during morning discovery, and apply real world problem solving to design and innovate products that help solve the problem. For example, they may design a flexible wearable arm crane to help them reach a box of cereal on a high shelf, after exploring stiffness and durability of materials during discovery time.
Lunch Break
12:00pm - 12:45pm
Kids enjoy a nutritious lunch break, prepared by parents.
Art & Creativity Studio
12:45pm - 1:30pm
This studio offers students engaging and creative STEAM projects that balance the learning and focus on design and imagination, which enhances long-term outperformance in kids.
Outdoor Experience
1:45pm - 2:30pm
Kids participate in a set of fun outdoors activities that offer physical engagement, socio-emotional learning, and collaboration. This is perfect for acquiring problem-solving skills and community building.
Closing Ceremonies
2:30pm - 3:00pm
Kids reimagine how to apply today’s class to new engineering problems, then complete any final projects, before safely departing at 3pm.
Full Day Pick-up
3:00pm
Parents pick-up the kids from our locations.
Extended Day
3:00pm - 5:00pm
Our custom extended day program that allows support for parents who can’t pick up until after work to know their kids are fully engaged all day.
Why our Summer Camps for kids are Special
Special Themes and Days
Our camps are designed in a way that makes every day an adventure in creativity, science, and discovery. Each week of summer camp has its own theme, and thus each day, has unique sets of projects. Some typical examples include:

Each Monday includes the Opening Ceremony, where kid explorers play focused games to learn about their fellow campers and the science theme of the week.

Kids use creative design to solve real science problems, and apply what they have learned to build a solution that solves a real world issue. They bring their custom designed solutions, such as layered pickleball paddles that are quiet and rainbow LED flashlights that also function as nightlights, home to share the innovation with parents.

Fridays typically include our Closing Innovation Ceremony, where kids present and share their highlights from camp, as well as design and bring home their own STEM Innovation Box, which includes a set of child-friendly experiments and googles to continue the learning at home. Fridays also include the Innovation Camp Celebration, a set of experiments that excites and motivates kids.

Everyday at summer camp, the Art & Creativity Studio is unique, with 10 STEAM-powered experiences that add the “A” to STEAM (Magnet Maizes, Color Innovation Design).

Ideal for families looking to maximize their child’s summer learning, this package offers the most immersive STEM experience. Kids dive deep into multiple science themes, build stronger problem-solving skills, and create lasting friendships.
Science Pro 2-Pack
2 weeks - You can choose any two (2) weeks and/or camp topics
A perfect balance of fun and flexibility, this option gives kids the chance to explore two of our unique weekly themes, applying STEM concepts through creative challenges and take-home projects.
EasySTEM Individual Summer Camp
1 week - You can choose a single week of camp.
Great for first-time campers or families seeking flexibility, this one-week experience introduces kids to the excitement of hands-on science and imaginative learning in a safe, supportive environment.

Our Step-By-Step Registration Process
A camp is available on a first come first serve basis until our capacity is full. As long as your child is between the ages of 4 to 12, and can reasonably attend the camp, the process is very straight forward and typically follows these steps:

You can choose any location that has summer camp in Chicago, Seattle, as well as potential offsite summer camps that we host at some schools around the U.S.

You can choose the theme(s) of the camp that best fits the skills/needs you seek to build within your child. Each week includes 30+ hours of hands-on science, art, outdoor experiences and growth mindset education.

You can select the time/week(s) that is/are most helpful for your kid(s). Parents may sign up for 1 or all 12 weeks of the camp in any location.

You purchase a membership package which allows you to select between single and multi-week attendance, including full-day/half-day options

Our summer camps are designed for curious kids ages 4 through 12, with age-appropriate themes and activities that grow with your child. We offer structured learning and hands-on fun across PreK through 6th grade.

Not at all! Our camps are built for all experience levels, from first-time scientists to young innovators. Every child is guided through engaging experiments and activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, and STEM skills.

Absolutely. Parents can register for as little as one week or as many as twelve, depending on their needs and interest. We offer flexible scheduling through our EasySTEM, Science Pro, and Max Learning packages.
