Designed to enable kids to reach their full creative potential, Kids Science Labs (KSL) combines inspiring learning environments, engaging teachers, and a program that offers real science and engineering that is accessible, fun, and innovative for our kids. Our first learning center opened in 2011 and since then over 100,000 students ages 2-12 have experienced our innovative hands-on science program.

Kids Science Labs was started by two dads who, as engineers, wanted to solve a problem. “How do we unlock kids’ curiosity and maximize the learning potential of every single child, by exposing them to hands-on science when they are young?”. The problem was that by age 9, kids become convinced that science is boring, not relevant, or just too hard. That was a problem we have been fixing for 15 years, by creating the most innovative hands-on science program, powered by our team of engineers, artists, teachers, and innovators.

The Co-Founders saw the powerful benefits of creativity and problem solving during their time earning advanced engineering and business degrees at Stanford University, University of Michigan, University of Illinois, and University of Chicago, and they wanted to ensure every child kept asking questions, because science is a refinement of everyday thinkings.
